Sleepy Vibes Sound Bath led by Amethyst Healing It's time for bed, or it ought to be. You're weary and worn out, but sleep — once again — proves elusive. If you're consistently having trouble falling or staying asleep, you may have insomnia. And while it's a passing problem for some people, it can impair the quality of life for others and contribute to additional health issues, including high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes. In addition, stress, anxiety, and depression are significant contributors to insomnia. Join Relaxation & Sleep Specialist Ryan Wimperis from Amethyst Healing for a relaxing evening at the Sound Lounge, overlooking the St. Croix River in downtown Stillwater. You will find yourself immersed in sleep-promoting sounds and candlelight to set you up to get a good night's sleep. Your relaxation journey will start with a guided meditation, followed by the beautiful sounds of crystal singing bowls, rain, and ocean waves. When played, the bowls emit various frequencies that align with your natural frequencies, which allow the body and mind to reach a relaxed state promoting relaxation, reducing stress + anxiety, and improving sleep quality. Ryan Wimperis, the owner/operator at Amethyst Healing, is a Registered Sleep Technologist, Reiki Master & Sound Healer. With fifteen years of working in sleep medicine, Ryan has integrated eastern & western medicine to help others find balance in their lives. He does this by holding space that facilitates relaxation, promoting relief from stress, decreasing anxiety and depression while improving sleep quality. 5:50-6:00 pm- Check-in+settle in 6:00-7:00 pm- Meditation+Sound Bath Please note: Yoga mats are limited, blankets and eye masks are provided. You will want to dress comfortably or bring anything else you need to have a comfortable experience. Restrooms, onsite & street parking area available. Masks are not required but optional.
