Old-time jam for beginning and intermediate jammers! SMT's resident band, Oldgrass String Band (Nick Cameron, Mari Carlson, Justin Heath), lead a bi-weekly old-time jam for high school students and adults looking to build their jamming chops. They will lead standard tunes from the oldtime repertoire and help you out if you get lost in the chords. Jammers should know at least the basics of their instrument so they can play along with the group. Registration is required, and please note we have a maximum of 10 attendees. Please note this jam is a short and sweet 60 minutes, so we encourage you to arrive promptly at 7:00 to enjoy the full session!
