Description

Mindfulness & Meditation with Steffany Boucher & Erin Gocinski Mindfulness & Meditation Classes – March 20th, May 22nd and July 17th, 1-2pm Meditation is a tool used to tune into the inherent wisdom and intuition of the body to better understand and connect to the heart and mind. Benefits may include: Improved focus and prolonged attention span, deeper sleep, empathy for others, connection with others, stronger mental resilience, increased self-awareness and self-care, improved emotional regulation. Bringing meditation into daily life teaches participants to develop an attuned curiosity, and spaciousness that can lead to insights within their personal investigation. These insights may include topics such as aligning one’s actions with their intentions, kindness and goodwill, balance, letting go of attachment to outcomes, and skillful ways of working with undesired emotions. Most people who practice meditation are also inspired to share their practice with others. INTENTION: The focus of teaching meditation is to teach techniques and introduce resources for people to access and utilize on their own, in between group sessions; to empower others to create a self-practice and offer community connection and new ideas in group sessions. PROPS: Meditation is incredibly portable. No props are needed, but we do recommend participants bring a shallow pillow or rug to sit on and a blanket or yoga mat to lay on. We do recommend having a bottle of water for hydration. Price per person: $20.00 Suggested Donation
