This is a nice pleasant ride through the country to Culpeper and Shawn's Smokehouse BBQ for lunch. About 120 miles. The Ride to Cure is a shorter ride designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing journey up to Culpeper for BBQ Lunch at Shawn's Smokehouse with just a little distance at 120 miles and a few curves. Travel time is about 2.5 hours. 9:00 - Link up at FBC Park Street (739 Park Street Charlottesville, VA) 9:30 - KSU (Departure) 100% of the donations received from this ride will go to support the STXBP1 Foundation. The STXBP1 Foundation is a parent-led advocacy organization. We are Leading the Charge for a Cure to epileptic encephalopathies and related neurodevelopmental disorders caused by changes in the STXBP1 gene. We are comprised of a diverse team of families and their supports, scientists and medical professionals dedicated to ending STXBP1 Encephalopathy. 100% of the funds raised through this event will benefit the STXBP1 Foundation.
