I would like to do a Community Plant Swap on Sunday, June 5th from 2-4pm, in my side yard. I'm in the Garden Lakes section ("The Ave's") of I would like to do a Community Plant Swap on Sunday, June 5th from 2-4pm, in my side yard. I'm in the Garden Lakes section ("The Ave's") of Lindenwold. This is not a Lindenwold sponsored event, this is just a few gardners from Lindenwold coming together on a Sunday afternoon to swap plants, make new friends, and build community. The event will be held outside at 706 Cottage Ave, on the 3rd Street side. If you don't want to stand the whole time, please feel free to bring a chair. Please register so we make sure there is enough space. If you have never been to a plant swap, they are pretty easy and lots of fun. Everyone must have at least one (no more than 3) plant(s) to trade - herbs, flowers, veggies, houseplants are all welcome! All plants must be labeled BEFORE ARRIVAL with the type of plant and care instructions. Plants should be in an individual container and should be pest-free and healthy. Arrival between 1:45 - 2pm; place your trade for display on one of the tables. You will get a ticket for each plant you contribute. At 2:30 the swapping begins.Each person will trade in their tickets for plants. This continues until all plants are gone. In the end everyone leaves with the same amount of plants as they came with and you made a bunch of new friends!
