Hogwarts comes to Lexington! A Sunday school curriculum based on J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter book series starts Oct 17th from 10:30 to 11:30 AM specially designed class for 4th to 6th Graders. www.FPLex.org/Hogwarts The FREE class is offered by First Parish in Lexington, in a child-friendly environment aims to explore various themes present in the Harry Potter book series such as — friendship, loyalty, justice, equality, power, kindness, love, hope, faith, courage, and standing up for what’s right. Through imaginative engagement, fun activities, and honest discussions, this curriculum seeks to help participants claim the values inherent in their spiritual journey and find ways to express them in their lives. Each of the sessions helps children explore their questions and how they can make their own unique, positive choices, facing the darkness that confronts them while receiving the support of their beloved community. COVID Precautions: For the health and safety of all, children will be required to wear masks. All the adults working with the children are vaccinated and will be masked. Our NEW HealthWay air filtration units surpass MERV-13 and HEPA in their ability to trap viruses and provide the CDC recommended 4-6 changes of air each hour.
