First Friday Space 212 sponsored by UCP presents a culinary showcase for the whole weekend with the kickoff of Cafe212. Join us for a culinary arts treat as we kick off the First Friday of May with a culinary showcase weekend. First Friday activites begins at 1pm with Cafe 212 tasting; food, drinks and emersive culinary experiences. 1pm - 5 pm: Cafe212, hosted by Fresh off the Grill will offer some amazing vegan and plant based dishes. LILA (Love is Love Always ) seamoss smoothie samples and desserts by Chef Lorenzo. Free tastings and drinks, music and live art demos. 6 pm - 10 pm: Reneé Welsh-Noel, multidisciplinary artist. A curated event with the theme "April Showers bring May Flowers" giving people a chance to express love, joy, & art, through flowers for each other while we’re here to smell them! Featuring live choreography, live singing and musicians, a floral installation, paintings and drawings, jewelry and an interactive flower bar where you can build your own bouquet. 10 pm - 1 am: Dru Billions hosts Carribean Night: Groove to the sound of the Islands.
