Join this cool birding/nature walk at 8500 feet elevation in Long Valley with ornithologist Kurt Leuschner of College of The Desert. Have you ever wanted to see a White-headed Woodpecker or a Red-breasted Sapsucker?How about a Clark’s Nutcracker or a Western Tanager? Do you know why the bill of the Red Crossbill is crossed? When it comes to birds it’s a whole other world when you visit the Mount San Jacinto State Park at an elevation of 8,500 feet!
