Come one, come all to the first annual celebration of the music, art, ecology and culture of our beautiful Morongo Basin. Joshua Tree Voice will have been in production for one year this October. To celebrate, we invite you all to gather in your finest Joshua Tree pageantry to celebrate our unique culture. We will be recognizing excellence in music and the arts, as well as those on the front lines protecting our area's fragile ecosystem. This gala will be a spectacle of live music performances, art displays, theater and dance exhibitions, and more. Come dressed in your finest and most unique, colorful Joshua Tree pageantry for our red carpet step and repeat photo opportunity (Let's show the world how we do parties!). The nominees will be selected by 200 of their peers (those active in the Morongo Basin in the areas of art, music, culture, and theater). No one will be allowed to vote for themselves. Those nominees will then be for everyone to vote their favorites. We realize we can celebrate only a few of those deserving our gratitude for their contributions at this event, but we have every intension to lift up the many others in years to come.
