Companion Animal Hospital Of Lewisburg TN, is seeking one kennel assistant (Hospitality Team Member) to join our 15 person team. Successful applicant must be mature, hard working, reliable, dependable, and willing to do dirty work caring for patients, borders, and facility. We are located at 1340 S Ellington Parkway. Our ideal candidate will have reliable transportation, is a self-starter, motivated, team-oriented, good communicator, and excellent with clients. Animal care experience is a strong plus. References will be called. You must successfully pass a drug test, at our expense. Some weekend and evening hours are required.Responsibilities Give baths to dogs and cats, assist with nail trims, express glands Clean indoor and outdoor runs/cages Feed animals as directed Monitor animals during shift for cleanliness and healthiness Assist technicians with animals as asked Perform hospital janitorial services inside the building and on hospital grounds Clean hospital property from patient feces regularly Verify and enter client charges and services rendered Qualifications Ability to work approximately 25-32 hours per week Ability to work at least every other Saturday Reliable transportation High school diploma or GED Ability to pass a mandatory drug test prior to work Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to spell well and articulate details in notes taken and entered Excellent listening skills Ability to take constructive criticism professionally and change work habits accordingly Non-smoker Ability to lift and work with up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 35 lbs. regularly Reliable, honest, self-starter, requiring little supervision Possession of strong problem-solving skills Team-oriented individual with a good sense of humor and interpersonal skills Desires long term employment, not just a job for a short period of time If you do not like being busy please do not apply.
