STAMFORD, CT — A Levittown man has been arrested after police said he broke into a car in Connecticut and then stole a purse and credit cards, according to a report. Vashaar Sarmad, 18, faces charges including burglary and theft in connection with the Oct. 15 theft, The Stamford Advocate reported Monday.
