On behalf of Columbia College Chicago's Black Student Union, you have been formally invited to our upcoming Donning of the Kente Ceremony on On behalf of Columbia College Chicago's Black Student Union, you have been formally invited to our upcoming Donning of the Kente Ceremony on Friday, May 6th at 7:00pm, 1104 S. Wabash - Conaway Center. This event serves as a recognition ceremony for the 2022 black graduates of Columbia College Chicago’s Black Student Union. The Donning of the Kente is a ceremony specifically celebrating graduates of the African diaspora. Each graduate will receive their own kente stole. For questions and concerns, please email us at [email protected] External guests are required to RSVP in advance and bring your tickets (printed or mobile) AND government or student ID to check in at any location. You may add children 13 and under to your RSVP. Everyone 14 and over requires individual RSVP. Students, faculty, and staff will check-in with Campus Cards. RSVP not required.
