Only City of Detroit Employees The Employee LEAP program is a series of workshops giving participants the necessary skills and knowledge to make them more productive, efficient, and valuable in the organization. The LEAP acronym stands for: •L – Learn •E – Engage •A – Apply •P – Perform Once participants learn the material, participants engage with it using interactive workshop activities. Then, they apply the material in their work environment and perform to the best of their abilities having acquired new talent and skills.
