LEVITTOWN, NY — A Levittown man has been arrested for having numerous illegal weapons and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, including armor-piercing rounds, Nassau County Police said in a press release Monday.The name of the man was not immediately available from police. Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder is expected to brief members of the press on the arrest this afternoon at Nassau County Police Headquarters in Mineola. Police said investigators found numerous illegal weapons, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, including armor piercing rounds, as well as drugs.Patch will be updating this story as it develops.
