Claims Processor will be required to stay in compliance with, verifying information, preparing correspondence with insurance agents, beneficiaries, attorneys, patients and Hospital staff. The daily task requires strong organizational and clerical skills, attention to detail is a must for success. RRESPONSIBILITIES: • Communicate with insurance agents and beneficiaries • Prepare claim forms and related documentation for audits and/or mail out • Review claim submissions and verify the information • Record and maintain policies and claims information in database systems • Comply with federal, state, and company regulation polies • Perform clerical task as required • Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning – document preparation • Scan hard copy files to electronic images. Ensuring a quality image. • Follow production procedures and completing internal documentation & tracking REQUIREMENTS: • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, computer knowledge, and medical terminology • Proficiency in reading, writing & communicating in English. • Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and management. • The ability to remove staples, sort, file and box records. • Must be able to maintain record order and sequence. • Must be able to understand the importance of detail and accuracy. • Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work. • Must be acceptable of change and long durations of project assignments • Have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) ROI Call Center Specialist JOB DESCRIPTION As a part of the ROI (Release of Information) team, Call Center Specialist interpret and respond to request for protected health information. Make use of phone "script" to take patient inquiries, insurance claims, attorney request and disability representative calls; and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to the customers regarding medical records needed to release information. Perform data entry functions, utilizing Iron Mountain tracking application, to log monitor, and complete request for information. Fax out authorization forms to verified recipients. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner- about 300 calls daily • Follow communication "script" when handling different topics • Verify the accuracy and quality of information to requestor • Reproduce the requested information according to Service Level Agreement timeframes and in accordance with the authorization and/or legal requirements when sending out faxes • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support • Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensive way REQUIREMENTS: • Previous experience in a customer support role up to 6 months experience • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening • Familiarity with medical terminology, CRM systems, and practices • Customer focused and adaptability to different personality types • Have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) • Minimum of 6 months experience in data entry, use of fax machine, and Windows OS • Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time Iron Mountain is an equal opportunity employer, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, marital status, age, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status or other legally protected classifications under applicable federal, state, or local laws in making employment decisions.
