NEW JERSEY - An Instagram video reportedly depicting a Trenton health officer in her underwear getting a massage in a conference room in front of coworkers has sparked a city investigation, according to an NJ.com report.
The video, which has since been deleted, allegedly shows Yvette Graffie-Cooper in a bra and underwear in a city conference room while a woman uses a massage wand on her shoulders, arms, back, legs and stomach.
Giraffe-Cooper has been employed as Trenton's public health officer for nearly 20 years, according to a Facebook post from the city.
The video is also under review by the county prosecutor's office, according to the outlet. Requests for comment were not immediately returned from Trenton's spokesperson or the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
City councilwoman Robin Vaughn told NJ Advance Media that the video was captured in a conference room on North Broad Street in a health and human services building. While she told the outlet she did not know when the video was taken, a date on a screen recording of the video is marked Feb. 24.
"My concern is that it took place in a government building during business hours," Vaughn told the outlet. "The company was providing services not vetted by the government — it puts employees at risk. There's a whole level of issues along with civil rights violations potentially. You have employees sitting there — her subordinates."
Vaughn reported the video to the prosecutor's office, the state Office of the Attorney General and the state Division of Consumer Affairs, as well as other council members, according to NJ.com.
