Press release from Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District: Ashley Berrones April 28, 2022 Aaron Chila, a science teacher at Harlingen School of Health Professions, has been appointed to the Pre-AP National Faculty for demonstrating effective teaching practices, proven classroom success, and his experience leading professional learning. After a rigorous application process, Chila was selected to represent and serve as National Faculty for the Pre-AP Program, joining more than 300 National Faculty members from across the United States. "I feel excited and empowered to be a part of an internationally respected program that focuses on student and teacher growth," Chila said. "I am also confident that the experiences I will have as part of the Pre-AP National Faculty will create positive effects in my own classroom."
