Press release from City of Bellaire: April 25, 2022 The City of Bellaire Environmental Sustainability Board is hosting a Drive Through Recycling Event on Saturday, May 7, at the Public Works yard located at 4337 Edith Street in Bellaire. The event begins at 9:00 am and is scheduled to end at 1:00 pm, but it will end earlier if the trucks reach full capacity. Participants must always stay in their vehicles; no walk-ups will be allowed. We no longer accept paper for shredding at this event. Please see the list below for details. We will accept: Scrap metal, small appliances (cable boxes, power cords, cables, VCR, cell phones, IPads/tablets), computer equipment ( laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, hard drives), TV (CRT up to 27", LCD/Plasma, LED up to 50", no wooden cases), radios and stereos.
