Press release from the Wright County Government: April 29, 2022 Spring Load Restrictions will be removed on highways under Wright County's jurisdiction on Friday, May 13, 2022, at 12:01 AM. Wright County highways typically follow the MnDOT Central Frost Zone load restriction postings for placing and removing Spring Load Restrictions each year. However, we reserve the right to place and remove restrictions based on how weather is affecting roadway strength based on both visual observation and data obtained from the Otsego freeze/thaw ground monitoring station. Since Wright County was recently this year put into MnDOT's Metro Frost Zone area, we will consider following the Metro Frost Zone for placing and removing Spring Load Restrictions in the future.
