JOLIET, IL — Jordan Lesley, a 26-year-old resident of Fairmont Avenue, was arrested by Joliet police last week following allegations of dealing crack cocaine. Joliet officers hauled away Lesley on Tuesday, bringing him to the Will County Jail. Lesley is charged with three counts of delivery of controlled substances and one count of possession of controlled substances.
"Following an extensive drug investigation, Lesley was identified as a suspect in the delivery of crack cocaine," Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English announced.
On Tuesday, "officers conducted a traffic stop near Gaylord Road and Essex Drive and identified Lesley as the driver. Lesley was placed into custody without incident. Upon search of Lesley, officers recovered suspected cocaine," Joliet's police spokesman indicated.
Lesley spent about 48 hours in the Will County Jail and on Thursday night he walked out of the jail after posting 10 percent of his $25,000 bail, jail logs show.
