In mid-March, you received, an invitation by mail to respond to the 2020 Census. As of today, only 37.5% of Aventura residents have completed their form. The average self-response rate for the State of Florida is 49.8%. Just like you are all doing your part to slow the virus outbreak, do your part to ensure the City gets its fair share of federal funding and representation. That's more important now than ever before.

A full count of everyone living in the City of Aventura on April 1, 2020 will shape our future for the next 10 years. The census count affects funding for hospitals, schools, emergency services, bridges, tunnels, roads, child care centers, senior centers and other essential services.
