Acton ME

Description

Hi there, We would like to hire an OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) familiar individual who can help us stream an electronic music event in Acton, ME to Twitch on May 8th. The event is for a permaculture event circuit: Permatours (). Specifically, the Spring 2022 kickoff event. The live stream (of DJ Dustin Rosata) is on Sunday, May 8th. We have 2 Macbooks and all audio equipment, our own Twitch Channel, and more details on the equipment, etc. Please contact us if you're familiar with OBS and would be able to help - we have a small budget for payment. ** It's with jubilance that Permatours invites you to our Spring Spectacular Educational Retreat - a 4-day family-friendly gathering hosted from Thursday, May 5th to Sunday, May 8th at Diggers Co-Operative in Acton, ME. We're kicking off year 2 of our permaculture & sustainable construction tour with educational workshops and festivities, an abundance of space for sharing each others' gifts, and opportunities to connect with mama earth, ourselves, and community. For the first 3 days of the event (Thursday through Saturday), we'll be “learning by doing” via hands-on workshops on tiny house carpentry, greenhouse construction, cob oven building, off-grid solar, permaculture gardening, hugelkultur, composting, dance meditation, acro yoga, & more. On Day 4 (Sunday, May 8th), we’ll connect around a regenerative marketplace ft. local eco-friendly vendors as well as a plant & mushroom foraging walk, a drum & singing circle around a campfire, cacao ceremony, tea lounging, sound healing, body movement, and educational talks on soil, regenerative economics, and activism. Discounted EARLY BIRD TICKETS are available until Tuesday, May 2nd, and vendors can pay for table space here. ALTERNATIVE PAY MENT & VOLUNTEER OPTIONS: The first year of Permatours was funded by Seeds cryptocurrency, where contributors earned Seeds for their participation and were able to use the cryptocurrency to buy products and services from members of the community sharing their offerings for Seeds. We will be accepting Seeds as a form of payment for tickets! We also have scholarships available for those who need financial support to attend. You can apply for our scholarship program here and we'll get back to you within a few days of your submission. Registered volunteers are invited to earn workshops and meal tickets and to attend Sunday's festivities for free. You can register for volunteer shifts here and attend our volunteer logistics meeting Tuesday night (May 2nd) at 6 pm by registering for the meeting here. ACCOMMODATIONS: There are several camping areas throughout the property, including the Birch Grove, with its own fire pit and outhouse, as well as the Pine Grove near the main house with access to the outhouse. Outdoor showers and outhouses are the primary bathroom access, and attendees are also welcome to use the indoor shower and bathrooms in the main house. There's also an outdoor kitchen and water provided in the backyard gathering space, where 3 community meals will be served Thursday through Saturday. Folks are encouraged to bring ingredients to share. On Sunday, there will be a light breakfast served and an open kitchen for you to cook, with a potluck lunch as well as Late Light Farm offering farm-to-table food for sale. We so look forward to connecting and celebrating life with you! Please feel free to reach out with any questions. :) Much Love & Gratitude, Permatours www.permatours.org
