HOLLYWOOD, FL — At least four buildings were badly damaged early Thursday morning when a fire broke out on the Hollywood Broadwalk, WSVN News 7 reports.
According to the report, restaurants La Brochetterie and Little Venice Restaurant were the most badly damaged structures, but smoke, fire and water damage did spread to other nearby buildings.
NBC 6 South Florida reports Blue Wave, Hollywood Grill, At Peru Restaurant and Ocean Alley were also damaged in the blaze.
According to NBC 6, the fire broke out around 5 a.m. and was reported by nearby beachgoers.
The fire was extinguished around 7 a.m., WSVN reported. An investigation into the cause of the blaze is now underway.
No injuries were reported.
