Press release from the City of Aventura: May 12, 2020 The City invites the community to cheer the graduating high school class of 2020 along Country Club Drive on Thursday, May 14, 2020. The car parade of students along with their families will commence at approximately 6:15 p.m. and will be escorted by the Aventura Police Department around County Club Drive. The parade of decorated cars will leave Spoke Road, head north on County Club Drive and will make two laps around the circle. Residents, family and friends are invited to show their support and cheer and clap from the comfort of their residential balconies or from the sidewalks along Country Club Drive. Please respect social distancing, wear face coverings, and help honor the high school graduates. This is an opportunity for students and their families to enjoy a wonderful celebration marking the end of their school year and hard work especially during these unprecedented times.
