Wanted Ground Crew For Arborist - 1 Helper To Load Wood / Logs

Jobs

Minneapolis MN

Description

I am looking for a ground person to help me out sometimes when I have tree projects. So this should be considered as a side gig. Sometimes, I only need help for 1 day in the week. Right now, I need a ground person for at least 1 - 5 days in a row. Preference will be given to those that can work at least 2 days in a row for me. I have work for May 2nd - 12th and maybe more. Work hours: I try to work 8-10 hours each day, so start time is around 8am and we work till around 6pm with one 30 minute break. $15 - $25 per hour based on experience and your commitment. If you are driving far, I will add $20 for gas if you work at least 8 hours in a day. If you work less than 8 hours, no gas money will be given. If you just want to work for just 1 day and never come back that is okay as I have a list of people that I can always fall back on. The pictures of logs in this ad show the size of logs that you would be responsible for moving, lifting, carrying, and loading into a trailer. You can use a cart/dolly to move them. You will also move and load branches into a trailer. Regardless of experience, everyone will always get paid a minimum of $15 per hour. Cash payment will be provided at the end of the day. No experience is required, but I prefer that you can opperate a chainsaw and drag branches and logs to the front of the property for the hauler to pickup. You might have to help the wood hauler load the branches/logs into their trailer. Some logs may be very heavy, but we can cut/chainsaw them to manageable size. I provide the chainsaw and equipment. If you work multiple days in a row for me and have experience, I will pay you an extra $5 per hour for all the hours that you worked for me, which equals to a $20 per hour pay. Basic tree ground crew experience is required: Ground crew experience means that you know how to work the lowering lines on the ground. That you understand that you have to quickly move fallen branches/logs off the climbing and lowering lines if the lines are stuck so that I can continue to work/prepare more branches for lowering. You also know basic arborist terms so that if I am up in a tree and I ask for a sling you are not lost and confused by my request. This additional $5 per hour will be paid out after you have work with me for 2 days If you have several years of experience and work lik a beast, I will pay you an extra $5 per hour for all the hours that you worked for me, which equals to a $25 per hour pay if you work multiple days in a row with me. This additional $5 per hour will be paid out after you have work with me for 2 days If interested, please let me know the following: What city are you coming from? Do you have your own transportation? Are you in good physical shape? Are you able to lift and carry heavy objects? Are you dependable? (My rule is that if you do not show-up once during our first 8 projects. You will NEVER work for me again.) This information is not required, but please feel free to provide your name and number so that I can give you a call. Thank you for taking time to read my post!
