Help us build a great brand! Work outside with great customers and fellow vendors. Earn tips for a great hourly rate. We're 29 Kettle Confectionery, we make the best glazed pecans, almonds, cashews, and hazelnuts you'll ever taste. We do many farmers markets around the Portland area. We're looking for team members to come on board for the season to help us sell and promote our delicious products to farmers market customers. We've just finished building a number of mobile retail carts that will be delivered to each farmers market, they look beautiful and are intended to make your job easier. We're a young company and growing quickly. Looking for people who are excited to join us in our mission of spreading the joy of freshly roasted and glazed nuts far and wide. Requirements: *Friendly and Outgoing *Comfortable using point of sale technology (square) *Excited to work outside in various weather conditions *Willing to problem solve issues that may come up Responsibilities: * Introduce as many new customers to our products as possible by offering samples to everyone that walks by. * Provide exceptional customer service to returning customers to uphold our brand values. * Educate customers on where else to find our products (online, in stores, or at other farmers markets). * Communicate clearly with team members to ensure that you have everything you need and that everything stays in good working order.
