Mountain Pools Construction Crew- Variety & Flexibility

Jobs

Tinker St near Dixon Ave, Woodstock NY

Description

Mountain Pools in Woodstock is hiring for its pool construction crew. The work is outdoors in some of the most beautiful residential property in the country. You’ll either be at a different site or doing a different type of work each day. There are nine people who work on our construction team, and on a typical day you’ll be part of a crew of 4-5 people. The team gets along well and has anywhere from over twenty years to a year on the job. Work hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 to 3:30p, weather permitting. We work through light rain. There are opportunities to work over the weekend, but it’s not required. No experience with pools or construction is necessary. Those with relevant experience will earn more. For those with less experience the work will focus on moving concrete, mixing concrete, carrying materials, raking, digging, etc. For those with more experience the work includes assembly, framing, rough masonry work, and fine troweling. I’m seeking someone who is punctual, reliable, honest, willing and able to do physical work, willing to learn, and willing to be a team player. I prefer those who can start immediately and work through early November, but will consider those who may not match that preference. Similarly I prefer those who can work full time, but will consider those who want part-time work or a flexible work schedule. The pay range is from $16/hr to $25/hr based on ability and experience. You’re eligible to participate in our 401k plan featuring a 4% employer match from your first day with us. At Mountain Pools you’ll be part of an established team that cares about doing a good job. We’re not perfect, but we work to do better every day. If this sounds like the kind of place you’d like to be, please send a brief work history and a brief message explaining your interest in the role. I’ll respond to all inquiries. If it looks like we might be a good fit I’ll invite you to meet in person. Sincerely, Peter
