Looking to rehome my giant day gecko Kiwi. Would come with her tank(18x18x24), some of the decor in it(there’s some dragon statues I want to keep) and 2 light fixtures w/ the lights. 150$ for everything. Able to drive to meet up. **Please do your research about giant day geckos, especially if you’ve never kept a reptile before. I’ll give experienced care info to those seriously interested in her. Kiwi needs a quiet home with no kids. She is not a reptile you’ll be able to handle. Even with extensive, careful desensitization, it probably won’t happen. I’ve had her for 2 years and she still won’t step onto my hand for a worm. Kiwi eats giant mealworms, dubia roaches, wax worms(not often) and crickets. She also eats Pangea crested gecko food(only this brand for some reason). She needs to be misted daily. You’ll need to get a dripper, as day geckos won’t drink from still water.(I used an automatic misting system in place of this, but they are expensive) Despite being skittish, she’s definitely curious. She watches me while I’m at my desk and will often look directly at you. She is really fun to watch move around, especially if she’s hunting the worms in her feeding dish. She’s a beautiful gecko, and she has been an amazing pet for me. I hope to find someone to love her just as much as I do!
