Swampscott Coronavirus: School District Closes Through March 27

SWAMPSCOTT, MA—The Swampscott School District will be closed from March 16 through March 27, school officials announced Friday. "We will email information regarding our online resources for enrichment activities early next week," school officials said in an online statement. According to district officials, elementary parent conferences have been canceled. MIAA Spring Sports Season has also been suspended until March 30. Elementary report cards will also be delayed, school officials said. Students who receive free or reduced lunch will be able to pick up a grab and go lunch Monday-Friday during this closure period, school officials said.
