Car Accident Hit and Run - EXIT 44 LIE

This is a long shot - my partner was involved in a hit and run accident on Sunday, May 1st around 12pm on Exit 44 of the LIE. A white work van was involved. They rear-ended the vehicle (Blue Kia) causing significant damage and sped away. We are trying to find anyone who may have witnessed this accident and may provide information as to what happened, or possible dashcam footage. The police came onto the scene and there is very little information in the police report. No photos or witness statements have been provided. Please share or pass this on to anyone you know who drives in that area regularly at that time. Thank you!
