In search of country musicians, NOT SINGERS. Looking for musicians who are well versed in yesterday's type of country music and not involved with other projects. Must be able to play a wide variety of covers and capable of learning new material quickly. All originals were written in Nashville. Yesterday's cover's would include 70 80s 90s and some 2000s. No hip Hop or rap country involved. Cover music would be from the errors of Ronnie milsap Conway Twitty to Dwight yoakam Randy Travis George strait Garth Brooks Dan seals ricochet lone Star Little Texas Alan Jackson Joe diffie exile etc. Must have the ability to learn songs quickly whether original or covers and not one song per week. This is a quick learn quick play opportunity - not a handout. If you're a singer do not apply! If you don't have time to practice at home rehearsals with the band in person Or have the ability to go out and play then this is not for you. If you are just looking for someone to jam with please do not apply. You will NOT hear any original materials until we have gone out and played successfully for at least 3 months. This will show your ability -capability -professional musicianship and dedication. You also must be willing to sign a contract that says that you are dedicated to our band and our band only once accepted. Contract term will be for 2 years. If you have a job that restricts you from going to rehearsals on the weekends or practicing at home during the week or playing on the weekends then this will not be for you. Tryouts are on Saturday afternoons. Your audition will be in a half hour time slot. We have a wide variety of country music on hand for you to try out too.
