Description
Hello there. Our family is currently looking for a young female yorkie or two young bonded yorkies to adopt. Twelve years ago a little yorkie princess, Cookie, came into our lives and brought so much love and laughter to our home. A few years later we were blessed with the opportunity to adopt our sweet little man, Dodo, who made us smile each and every single day and filled our home with even more love. Sadly, both of our fur babies passed away this year. Our family is still heart broken from our loss and although we thought we could never have another doggie again because the pain of losing them is so great, it is now clear that our home feels empty without the little clickity clacks of little paws and the little barks and whines asking for more kisses and loving. We are hoping to share our home with a young yorkie as opposed to an older yorkie only because we are still grieving our fur babies and I can’t imagine going through this sadness again anytime soon. Although we love all breeds of doggies, we have chosen yorkies because they are hyper allergenic. Our home, although well suited for small dogs 10 lbs and under, is a townhome and we do not have a backyard. For this reason we would not be the right fit for larger doggies.
About us: we have two college aged children, my husband currently works from home, and I usually work from home also. There are about 3 months out of the year that my job requires frequent travel. There would never be a time when your doggie would be all alone for any extended amount of time during the day. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly and there is a dog park nearby. We enjoy taking our pups wherever we go so whether that be on bicycle rides or on vacations. Our doggies are not just pets, they are family. We do not mind paying a small rehoming fee.
