Job description Small lawn care/landscape maintenance company looking for one new team member. Experience operating lawn care equipment preferred but not required if fit seems right and willing to learn. Job activity includes but not limited to: A.Weekly residential property maintenance: mowing, debris collection, string trim areas and cleanup. B. New landscape install. planting annual flowers, trees, shrubs, mulch placement and minor hard-scaping. C. Landscape maintenance: pruning bushes, weeding landscape beds and general care as needed. D. Light mower maintenance: sharpening blades, changing oil and minor repairs. E. Spring and fall leaf cleanup. F. Snow removal during winter. Position would start at hourly, then transition to year-round salary after one year. Schedule would be between 35 - 40 hours per week....limited winter hours. Most work done M-F. However if weather interferes, an occasional Saturday may be required. Position is year round with heavier work load in spring and fall. Qualifications are as follows (not mandatory yet preferred): A. 2 year experience with lawn care and landscaping. B. Proficient in operating walk-behind mowers as well as pruning equipment. C. Basic knowledge of plants and attention to detail. D. Able to drive truck with trailer. No DUI on record. E. Personal communication skills: able to work with other crew members and communicate with client.
