This class will teach you the basic techniques of spindle turning using a Skew Chisel. In class, we will learn how to sharpen a Skew Chisel as well as all of the basic cuts such as shoulder cuts, beads, coves and pealing cuts. This is an intermediate level class and attendees should be familiar with all lathe safety aspects as well as a good knowledge of using bowl gouges, spindle gouges and scrapers.
