This Kentucky Jew made everyone laugh during her bat mitzvah, and the rest is history. She is a writer for As Goes Wisconsin, was selected as a 2021 New Face for the Just For Laughs Festival, and has been featured in the New York Times. Very Special Feature Guest: Maria Heinegg is a comedian, writer and actress who has been seen on Bravo, Spike TV and heard Sirius radio. You may have seen him at The Lou Costello Room, where he's a show producer and regular perfomer, or across the DMV at venues like Sky Stage, Motorhouse, Highwire Improv, Dojo Comedy, or your silliest daydreams. Whether he's making puns about his cat, joking about queer cannibals in Facebook comments, or just generally doing a bit, you know it's gonna be a great time! Jeff King grew up in the DC area, went to college, then spent a couple of years in the military where he gained some new components but retained what could be called a sunny outlook. After that, he moved to Baltimore, got married, and has been performing stand-up comedy since 2019. He and his wife have a goofy Labrador named The Wudge. Jeff enjoys talking about a number of topics from his oddball perspective. He has performed comedy throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region at venues such as Magooby's Joke House, Zissimo's, The State Theater of Havre De Grace, Church of Satire, and VFW Halls. Ian Salyers ..former Magooby's New Comedian of the Year winner. Host: Mike Quindlen (producer of this very show) lives in Baltimore, but is from Philadelphia. He has opened for Rich Vos, J.B. Smoove, Alonzo Bodden, the late John Weatherspoon, Doug Stanhope and a few other legends. Mike is also the founder and creative director of the Ellicott Silly Comedy Festival.
