Introduction to American Sign Language presented by members of Staples High School ASL Club! Come learn ASL! Join us in this three session workshop and learn basic words and phrases in American Sign Language. This program is taught by members of the Staples High School ASL Club in a relaxed and fun setting. In these sessions, we will learn how to sign the alphabet, and signs for greetings, numbers, family members, emotions and hobbies, so that students can communicate with basic ASL phrases. We’ll learn through direct instruction, interactive video, and lots of time to practice. If you’re interested in having some fun while learning a new language, we’d love to see you this summer at the Westport library!
