The Firefighter Mile is right around the corner... The Office of Recruitment wants to help better prepare you for each event! The Firefighter Mile Preparation practice is an introduction to the physical phase of the examination. This practice is not the full Firefighter Mile course. This course has been modified to provide hands on experience and acclamation to the course. Please note this is an optional preparation event, no preference points or special consideration for the next Firefighter Examination will be provided to attendees. This event will NOT be an open gym format. It will be organized and each station will have time constraints. If you already own a 40 pound vest to practice in please bring it. Please wear appropriate athletic clothes and running shoes. This is a PHYSICAL COURSE and is optional. This is NOT the entire Firefighter Mile course, this event is designed to give attendees a hands-on introduction to most of the Firefighter Mile stations. No one will be permitted to enter without a reserved ticket time slot and QR Code. PLEASE BRING YOUR QR CODE (ON PAPER OR ON YOUR PHONE) No recording Media devices will be permitted or photography. Liability waivers and releases are required to be signed at check in. Minors will need to bring a guardian to sign waivers.
