Introduction to Soft Pastels Designed for the absolute soft pastel beginner (not necessarily beginner in art). We will discuss materials (papers and boards, pastel brands and types), basic techniques and mark making (how to use the pastel stick) and basic processes used with pastel painting. Each participant will complete a technique sampler using what we learned. Note this will NOT be a completed painting, just a sampler for future reference.
