Meet the team and community to discover what Participatory Budgeting Cleveland is doing and how to get involved in this historic effort. Join Participatory Budgeting Cleveland (PB CLE) for our 2nd PB In Action Event! At this interactive event, you’ll get a taste of how participatory budgeting works––and why it works. We’ll share food, discuss the phases of PB, and exchange ideas about how public dollars could be used to make lasting change in our neighborhoods. Then we’ll talk about how we can work together to ensure that PB happens here in Cleveland. Why are we calling for PB? Because Clevelanders deserve better. We can thrive and have a democracy that is transparent, responsive, and open to all residents of this city. We at PB CLE are determined to convince the City of Cleveland that residents should decide how to spend public dollars through participatory budgeting since we know what our community needs best.
