ALL NEW CLASSES Our FREE 2022 Live Burn CE Event will be bigger and better than ever and will be taught by Knott Labortory again this year!  ALL NEW CLASSES AND CREDITS, so if you attend past events, you can attend this year and get additional credits!  A focus of this years presentation will be on new building technologies and systems and how they can mitigate or exacerbate damage during fire events. This is not only of value to insurance adjusters, but also agents as well. Course Description: and Purpose: To educate insurance professionals on the Fire Investigation and fire remediation process. There are specific requirements laid out by the state for an Investigator to be qualified to determine Fire Cause and Origin. This class helps adjusters understand common language within fire investigation reports, whether from hired investigators or from local fire departments. Additionally there are a variety of new technologies in construction and property remediation that can aid in recovery following a fire event. Understanding fire science and fire occurrences can lead to improved claim outcomes. Our course will present fire science and investigation with enough detail to: Identify red flags for fraud by understanding how fire occurs Identify areas/items that should be preserved for the investigators Identify potential subrogation opportunities with fire cause and origin experts Identify damage that can be caused incidental to fires i.e. smoke damage, fire mitigation damage or structural damage. Free coffee, drinks, pastries, and BBQ will be provided for lunch! This is a free event and will bring four hours of CE for CO Agents and TX and WY licensed adjusters and CO licensed Agents*.
