We are so excited to announce that through much collaboration and partnership, Mental Health First Aid for Veterans is coming in May!
This training is for you if you are a Veteran and work or spend time around other Veterans and often find yourself concerned for your fellow veteran.
If you have ever been in a situation where your peer is struggling and/or in crisis and you have no idea what to do to help them? Have you ever struggled to find guidance, immediate help or identify resources on what to do to help the Veteran? Are you tired of struggling to identify immediate help and vital resources for the Veteran?If you said YES to any of these questions then this training is for you!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW:
The training is FREEThis training will be offered IN PERSON in Yonkers at the VFW and is open to all veterans interested. 2-hour self paced course before this trainingThere is FREE but limited parking.Masks are available for use, if needed. Masks are required to be worn during the tranining. *VFW Post 166 complies with state covid guidelines. There is a pre-requisite training. You can compelte the prerequisite at our White Plains site if neecded . A laptop will be provided to you, if needed. Complimentary lunch and snacks are provided throughout the day.
