Sidney Jackson, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana is the founder of Revision Marketing Group. Majoring in Computer Information Systems at Northwestern State University allowed him to expand his understanding of technology systems and resource management. During his time in college, he invested in video production equipment, and began shooting music videos, which progressed into testimonial videos for local businesses. With an interest in entrepreneurship, Sidney began his journey by consulting with business owners at the Louisiana Small Business Development Center in Natchitoches, where he aided in the development of marketing strategies as well as systems to automate business processes. After graduating with his bachelors from NSU, he and his wife, Victoria, moved to Shreveport, and he pursued his master’s at Louisiana State University- Shreveport. Upon graduation, he had already begun working full time for himself the previous year. He would say that the beginning process of his journey was tough, causing him to question himself a lot. However, months of hard work and consistently growing through the setbacks allowed him to build relationships, learn new skills, and gain sustainable revenue. At 25, he is now the proud husband to Victoria Jackson, and father to Adeline and Braylon; and an entrepreneur who still fails quickly, but learns from those failures quicker and strives for constant improvements.
