Plant Walk with Howard Zuefle
Howard Zuefle will be guiding a plant focused walk through the Imago woods sharing about the many edible plants, when to harvest them, and how to encourage their next generation. There will be a visit to the Terry St. community garden on the edge of the Imago property to talk about long-term food growing strategies and simple soil building activities. A few garden tasks may be asked of you too.
Howard has been in nature education as well as designing and implementing edible, mostly native, landscapes for the past 7 years. Foraging, friction fire, animal tracking, bird language, and other “primitive skills” are passionate hobbies of his. Learning about the research of Weston A Price and the ways of Indigenous Cultures has played a big role in his food choices and way of living.
