Churches from across the Wasatch Front are gathering together to worship Jesus and strengthen the body of Christ. We are gathering to hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, to motivate one another to acts of love and good works, to encourage one another (Hebrews 10:23-25), and to make every effort to keep ourselves united in the Spirit, binding ourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit! (Ephesians 4:3-4) Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles, and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. (Ephesians 2:20) We will worship together through caring for each other, praying together, singing, exercising the gifts of the Spirit, and learning together through a time of teaching. Then we will share the Lord's supper together over a potluck meal. Meal Info: Potluck! Each participating church is coordinating to bring a full meal and paper goods to contribute. Childcare Info: Kids of all ages are welcome to join with their families throughout our time together. There is no childcare provided, but there is a small, separate room where parents are welcome to retreat with their children as needed. There may be some older kids/teenagers who would be willing to play with the younger ones as necessary.
