Picnic, Kickball Game, & 5K Walk Need a little exercise? Want to get to know other students, faculty and staff? Want to help Pillar College? Register to join the 5k. Our goal is to have 50 people walk the 5K around Military Park and each contributes $10 plus recruits 9 other sponsors pledged to donate towards Pillar’s new scholarship initiative to raise up Black male elementary teachers into our education degree program. 10 sponsors each will actually provide a full scholarship for one African American man to complete a degree in elementary education. Be one of the 50. Join us after for a Picnic lunch- Hotdogs and snacks. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share! Then we will play a game of Kick-ball!! (If Rain: 5K is rain or shine- Lunch served inside, first floor Student Lounge)
