Network N' Build is a brunch for young artists and professionals in Trenton to come together to build a collective ongoing vision Network N' Build is a brunch for young artists and professionals in Trenton to come together, eat, and become familiar with the different entrepreneurs and influencers that exist in the town. We will have various Ice Breakers and discussion questions to stimulate conversation. Tickets are $35 which includes unlimited mimosas and sangria, a table appetizer and a meal. Network N' Build is an event to promote a larger community event called A Seat at the Table: The Community Meal. We’re proud to announce our first ever A Seat at the Table: Community Meal event happening on the 13th of August, 2022 in Cadwalader Park, Trenton, New Jersey. Traditionally, family meals bring us together to nourish our souls through food and conversation, building a time of intimate connection and joy. Inspired by Seitu Jones’s The Community Meal of October 2014 in St. Paul, Minnesota, A Seat at the Table is a recurring gathering for Trentonians, by Trentonians. In an effort to not only share the spirit of community, but also provide a space for Trentonians to transform their community through dialogue and art; families will attend a free community festival that will include dinner and engaging conversation. Paying homage to the 1979 Heritage Days of Trenton, A Seat at the Table will provide space for Trentonians to memorialize their vision of Trenton’s future through a collaborative art mural as well. All proceeds will cover event overhead and ongoing community initiatives. As of April 2022, the Trenton Meeting of Friends has agreed to contribute $1,000 towards our $10,000 goal. Climbing towards this goal is not possible without support of key stakeholders like you.
