Chasing Ice is a 2012 award winning documentary that chronicles the journey of James Balog, in what would become the largest glacier calving event to ever have been captured on film. Balog, an acclaimed photographer for National Geographic, began the journey with his own skepticism on the realities of climate change, but when he finished, he helped secure evidence for all of humankind to see a world of ice disappearing before our eyes.
