A free 90 minute workshop that explores coping mechanisms to manage stress using meditation and writing as tools.
Join us as we nurture our mind, body, and spirit together with Free Street Theatre. Learn healthy ways to cope with stress, move your body with a fitness demo, and participate in a creative writing workshop. Fresh produce will also be provided to participants who attend (while supplies last). Comfortable shoes and clothing recommended. This event will take place at 4346 S. Ashland Ave. Limited capacity, first come first serve.For this workshop, a health certified facilitator will go through a workshop of coping with stress, followed by a guided meditation. Following a 20 minute meditation, there will be a journaling workshop that centers on using writing as a tool to alleviate stress.
This is a collaboration between Blue Door Neighborhood Center and Free Street Theater.
