Grab your sketchbooks and join the AD EX and AIA Dallas Historic Resources Committee at Main Street Garden! Organized by AD EX and the AIA Dallas Historic Resources Committee. Bring your sketchbooks and curiosity. Join us to learn about the historic buildings in downtown Dallas that surround Main Street Garden Park and sharpen your sketching skills. This sketching meet-up will start with a short introduction to the architecture around the park from a trained AD EX docent and the architecture history experts of AIA Dallas' HRC committee. The group will then sketch independently and meet up toward the end of the event time to review the sketches. An optional lunch at a nearby restaurant will follow at noon. No sketching or art expertise is needed to participate. Beginners are welcome to attend this free event!
