Coke is a 1-2 year old Italian Greyhound mix who was surrendered to our rescue with her buddy Rum. She weighs about 12 lbs. She is simply adorable, though she can be a bit timid at first. She is definitely more of a couch potato and lounger. We are starting to see her have little bursts of energy, and run around with the zoomies sometimes! Just today, she started showing some interest in plushie toys for the first time, and she has been enjoying chewing on one. She is young and athletic, so I predict think she will become a very playful pup as she gains more confidence! She has not had any accidents since her first day in our home. She has so much love, and REALLY wants to be a good girl for you. It has been incredible to watch her transform from being so fearful and traumatized, to being such a loving cuddle bug in just a few short weeks. I know it’s just the beginning, and she’s going to continue to blossom into such a wonderful dog. They say that dogs never forget the people who rescue them, and I know she will be eternally grateful, loyal, and loving to her forever family! Coke is only an option for a home with prior dog experience. If there are children in the home, they should be over the age of 8.
